LPAC Foundation Receives $22,000 Endowment from Choices in Learning National Foundation
Endowment to Fund Four Years of the Performing Arts Scholarship Program
This morning, the Choices in Learning National Foundation granted the LPAC Foundation’s Performing Arts Scholarship program an endowment in the amount of $22,000. The endowment ensures scholarship funding for the next four years, affirming the LPAC Foundation's ongoing commitment to higher education.
Launched in 2016, the LPAC Foundation’s Performing Arts Scholarship program was created to benefit local graduating seniors who wish to pursue a post-secondary education within the performing arts, including technical fields such as lighting and sound. This year’s recipient, Eastside High School graduate, Citlali Sanchez-Zuniga is studying music education and violin performance at San Diego State University.
“With this endowment, Choices in Learning National Foundation has solidified the LPAC Foundation’s commitment to annually award a $5,000 scholarship to a deserving student,” said LPAC Foundation President, R. Steven Derryberry. “Through generosity such as this, the Performing Arts Scholarship program will continue to advance the dreams of our valley’s youth for many years to come.”
The Choices in Learning National Foundation supports individuals and organizations who are in pursuit of life-long learning. “Choices in Learning National Foundation is proud to support the LPAC Foundation and the work it is doing to perpetuate higher learning within the community,” said Ms. Jeri Vincent, Choices in Learning’s Chief Administrator.
