In partnership with and grant funded by the County of Los Angeles, the City of Lancaster has embarked upon a process to better understand homelessness and provide solutions that best suit Lancaster in addressing what has been identified as a top priority for the entire Lancaster City Council.
One such solution has been set in motion with the development of a Lancaster focused plan to combat homelessness -- the Lancaster Community Homelessness Plan. This Plan will engage service providers, volunteers, businesses, residents, and most importantly, individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Through a community-driven process, the Lancaster Community Homelessness Plan will provide a comprehensive look at homelessness, and offer customized actions and strategies to combat it and strengthen our community.
Attend the Lancaster Homeless Impact Commission Meeting, every 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
Join the conversation by attending the Antelope Valley Homeless Coalition (AVHC) Meeting on May 16 at 3:00 p.m.
