Lancaster, CA. April 22, 2025 – Celebrate the magic of spring and join us for the annual California Poppy Festival™ in Lancaster! Join us from April 25-27 at the AV Fair & Event Center for three days of thrilling rides, electrifying entertainment, delicious eats, and fun for the whole family!
“We are overjoyed to welcome everyone to one of Lancaster’s most highly anticipated events of the season!” said Mayor R. Rex Parris. “We are proud to celebrate how these vibrant blooms make Lancaster stand out as a great place to visit, live, and celebrate the nature surrounding our valley.”
Join us at the Grandstand Arena for three days of daring stunts, including Figure 8 racing, demolition derby, and a monster truck show. For the thrill seekers, make sure to buy your wristbands for unlimited rides all day long, brought to you by Helm & Sons Amusements. This year’s jam-packed weekend will also have live performances on the Poppy Main Stage from On Tap, West Bound 66, Grupo Bella, Tabu, and so many more!
For some family-friendly excitement, don’t miss the number of entertaining shows for all to enjoy throughout the festival! Prepare for the mystical during a magic show, or see lively aquatic creatures during the Tide Pool and Sea Lion shows.
Also, make sure to show support for our community’s students by stopping by the AV Junior Livestock Show during the festival. Meet Lancaster’s cutest livestock and the youth responsible for their care.
Keep an eye out for sweet treats and unique souvenirs! Get a taste of Lancaster and try the delicious foods and snacks brought to you by our vendors, or take a piece of our City home by supporting our local craft vendors in the Van Dam and Hunter Pavilions, or the Farmers Market. Guests 21 and over can also enjoy our beer garden with delectable local brews.
Lancaster’s favorite weekend is back for another year of fun for all! Check out the hours for this year’s vibrant event:
- Friday, April 25: 4 to 10 p.m.
- Saturday, April 26: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday, April 27: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
