The 40th Annual All-Media Juried Art Exhibition Opening at MOAH:CEDAR

Lancaster, CA. May 29, 2025 – The Lancaster Museum of Art and History (MOAH) and MOAH:CEDAR are pleased to host the 40th Annual All-Media Juried Art Exhibition.The exhibition will be open from June 7 through July 20, 2025, at MOAH:CEDAR. An opening reception will be held on June 7, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m., with the awards ceremony taking place at 6 p.m. down the street at MOAH’s Main Gallery. The Annual All-Media Art Exhibition showcases regional creative talent from around the 5th Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County and the Antelope Valley.

Visitors will have a chance to cast their vote for their favorite work in the People's Choice Awards competition. Attendees can submit one vote per visit during the exhibition run, which is open through July 20, 2025. Over $1,000 in prizes will be awarded to selected artists, made possible by the Lancaster Museum and Public Art Foundation, local businesses, community organizations, elected officials, and generous sponsors.

This year, local artists may opt in to be considered for the Creative Pollination Fellowship Award. The winning artist will be provided with a stipend to host a Creative Pollination Workshop, in which they will work with MOAH staff to organize a presentation on their artwork or techniques and present it to the public. Previous Creative Pollination gatherings and guest speakers can be viewed at moahcedar.org/creative-pollination. This year's jurors include Steven R. Calzada, an artist and educator; Samantha Herrerra, Curator of Exhibits at the Ontario Museum of History and Art; and Stephanie Sherwood, a Los Angeles-based artist and curator.

The Lancaster Museum of Art and History is dedicated to strengthening awareness, enhancing accessibility, and igniting the appreciation of art, history, and culture in the Antelope Valley through dynamic exhibitions, innovative educational programs, creative community engagement, and a vibrant collection that celebrates the richness of the region. MOAH is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended hours on Thursdays until 8 p.m. MOAH is located at 665 W. Lancaster Blvd on the corner of Lancaster Blvd and Elm Avenue.
