Ronda Perez has been with the City of Lancaster since 2006 and became the Assistant City Manager in December 2018. Prior to her role as Assistant City Manager, Mrs. Perez served as the Director of the Parks, Recreation & Arts Department for six years. During her tenure as Director, Perez led a team of employees to communicate the vision for the City’s comprehensive arts, recreation, and year-round special events to its residents. Additionally, Mrs. Perez oversaw the construction, maintenance, and acquisition of all parks, facilities, and landscape maintenance districts.
As Assistant City Manager, Mrs. Perez will provide support to the City Manager while offering vivid insight and fresh eyes to the City’s many innovative projects. She will continue to advocate for the arts and the role they play in the continued growth of the Lancaster community.
Mrs. Perez’s accomplishments are built upon a strong foundation. Her more than decade long employment with the City of Lancaster speaks volumes regarding her keen understanding of local government and its function.
Mrs. Perez holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach, as well as dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Criminology from University of California, Irvine.
Mrs. Perez’s greatest joy and fulfillment derives from being the wife of Anthony, a member of the United States Air Force, and mother to Vincent and Isabella.
