LHA Home is a special program created by the City of Lancaster’s Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization Department. We turn foreclosed properties that could have blighted a neighborhood into attractive, affordable homes ready for new owner/occupants who want to help make their new neighborhood a great place to live.
The neighborhoods these homes are located in have been targeted by Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization for special help. These more mature areas of the City may need a little TLC, but we have great plans for the future. With our help, area neighbors have banded together to create a vision of how things can be. These plans call for solid improvements that can help increase home values and provide a better quality of life for all.
If you’re interested in helping to make Lancaster better for your family as well as your neighbors and qualify under moderate income requirements then one of these homes may be the perfect choice for you. Because when you get right down to it, LHA Home is not really about our houses, it is all about our community.
