This checklist outlines submittal requirements for the following entitlements, which are approved by Planning staff action:
- Public Hearing Submittal Checklist
This checklist outlines the submittal requirements for the following entitlements, which are approved by Planning Commission or City Council action and require public hearings:- Conditional Use Permit (CUP)
- Tentative Parcel Map (TPM)
- Tentative Tract Map (TTM)
- Variance (VAR)
- Zone Change and/or General Plan Amendment (ZC/GPA)
- State-Mandated Entitlement Processes
- Entitlement submittals involving the application of state bills, such as SB 9 and AB 98, must demonstrate itemized compliance with their respective state bill, through a detailed site exhibit and written project description.
- State-Mandated Ministerial Subdivisions (SMMS)
- Certain state bills mandate requirements for a ministerial subdivision process, including SB 9 (2022), SB 684 (2024), and SB 1123 (2024). SMMS projects will be required to submit the standard Tentative Parcel Map (TPM) or Tentative Tract Map (TTM) entitlement application, but will be charged a Tentative Administrative Parcel Map (TAPM) submittal fee.
