The City of Lancaster's Nonprofit Pre-Qualification Program establishes a roster of eligible nonprofit organizations that serve Lancaster residents. Organizations approved through this process may become eligible to receive future monetary grants and/or in-kind support, subject to funding availability and City approval. Applications are accepted during designated enrollment periods.

Before You Apply

Your organization must:

• Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
• Primarily serve Lancaster residents
• Be based within the Antelope Valley
• Have operated for at least one year
• Be in good standing with the California Attorney General
• Hold a City of Lancaster business license (or exemption)

What Happens Next?

Applications are reviewed for eligibility and completeness before undergoing a scored evaluation. Organizations approved for the Pre-Qualified Roster may submit future requests for monetary or in-kind support as funding becomes available.

Important Information

• Pre-qualification does not guarantee funding.
• Funding is subject to available resources and City approval.
• Monetary awards are reimbursement-based.
• Approved organizations remain on the roster through December 31, 2028.
