TeamUp Lancaster
The City of Lancaster's TeamUp Lancaster Program invites residents, businesses, organizations, and public agencies to work together in keeping Lancaster beautiful. Through this program, participants can adopt a section of roadway for regular cleanups, join one-day events, or engage in graffiti removal efforts. TeamUp Lancaster aims to foster a strong sense of community pride and unity, helping maintain a welcoming and safe environment for residents and visitors alike.
Why Join TeamUp Lancaster?
The City of Lancaster is committed to creating a cleaner, more vibrant community, and we want you to be part of that mission. Every day, litter, debris, and graffiti harm our city’s beauty, but by joining TeamUp Lancaster, you help restore Lancaster’s streets and neighborhoods. Together, we’re creating a place that all can enjoy and be proud of.
Program Benefits
- Community Pride: A clean city inspires a positive atmosphere. Keeping Lancaster beautiful reflects a strong sense of pride and community spirit.
- Personal Satisfaction: Participants gain the satisfaction of knowing they’re making a meaningful, visible impact on Lancaster for both residents and visitors.
- Recognition: For two-year adopters, we provide a dedicated sign at your adopted location to acknowledge your group’s contribution.
New TeamUp Lancaster Options
1. Adopt-a-Roadway Program
Adopt a one-mile section of Lancaster’s roadways for two years with a commitment to hold four cleanup events each year. Your name will be displayed on a sign at the adopted location to recognize your efforts.
2. One-Day Cleanup Events
Want to make a difference but need a smaller time commitment? Participate in a one-day cleanup event organized with the City’s support. While no sign is provided, participants receive social media acknowledgment for their contribution.
3. Graffiti Removal and Abatement
Expand your impact by assisting with graffiti removal and illegal dumping abatement in key areas around the city. Volunteers may also participate in creating community anti-graffiti murals in collaboration with local artists and schools.
4. Community School Partnerships
Help coordinate student-led cleanup events near local schools. Schools and student groups can make a meaningful difference in their neighborhoods and foster community responsibility.
Our Commitment to You
