The City of Lancaster is proud to recognize our exemplary students along The BLVD through the "Turn Your Tassel" banner program. Banners featuring graduate and school colors will be placed in various locations on and surrounding The BLVD.
Turn Your Tassel Application Information:
Applications Open: Sunday, March 1, 2026
Applications MUST be received no later than: Tuesday, March 31, 2026
Nominee Information:
To be chosen, the nominee must satisfy the following criteria:
● Attending a high school within the City of Lancaster

*Any other schools at management's discretion*
● Graduating High School Senior
● Nominators must submit a recent high-resolution photograph in uniform or professional clothing along with this application
● Prepared to pay $175 per banner; you will be contacted for payment once your application has been accepted
These are the minimum requirements. Selections will be made at the discretion of the City of Lancaster.
Location of banners: The BLVD, American Heroes Park, & Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park.
The banners may be displayed for approximately three (3) months. Banners must be picked up 30 days after removal.
*Important* Applications that meet the criteria and are submitted prior to the deadline will be chosen on a first come first served basis. A maximum of 180 nominees will be accepted.
